Sabayon Linux MATE is an open-source and freely distributed Linux-based operating system built around the lightweigh MATE desktop environment, a fork of the old-school GNOME 2 desktop, and based on Gentoo Linux.
The Sabayon Linux project is distributed into multiple editions with the KDE, Cinnamon, GNOME, Openbox, Xfce, and many other well-known desktop environments. It is released every month and supports both 64-bit and 32-bit architectures.
