Ultimate Edition (formerly Ubuntu Ultimate Edition) is an open source distribution of Linux based on the world’s most popular free operating system, Ubuntu. It is built around the MATE desktop environment (a clone of GNOME 2) and comes with a plethora of pre-installed applications and utilities.
