Bitnami Dolibarr Stack is a free and multiplatform module that can be used by anyone who wants to install the Dolibarr web-based application and its runtime dependencies on personal computers. This project automates the setup of Dolibarr on GNU/Linux, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems.
What is Dolibarr?
Dolibarr is an open source and free web-based software package for small and medium companies, foundations or freelancers, offering them ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) features.
Installing Bitnami Dolibarr Stack
The Bitnami Dolibarr Stack product is distributed as native installers, cloud images, a virtual appliance, a Docker container and modules for the Bitnami LAMP, MAMP and WAMP stacks. To install the Dolibarr application on your desktop computer or laptop, you will have to first download the package that corresponds to your PC’s hardware architecture (32-bit or 64-bit), then run it and follow the instructions displayed on the screen.
Virtualize Dolibarr or run it in the cloud
Thanks to Bitnami’s pre-build cloud images, users will also be able to run Dolibarr in the cloud with their hosting platform or on the Amazon EC2 and Windows Azure cloud hosting providers. In addition, a virtual appliance is available for download on the project’s website, based on the latest LTS (Long Term Support) release of Ubuntu and designed to run on the Oracle VirtualBox and VMware ESX and ESXi virtualization software.
The Dolibarr Docker container and LAMP/WAMP/MAMP modules
Besides installing Dolibarr on your personal computer, virtualize it or run it in the cloud, it is possible to install it on top of an existing Bitnami LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) Stack, Bitnami MAMP (Mac, Apache, MySQL and PHP) Stack or Bitnami WAMP (Windows, Apache, MySQL and PHP) Stack, without having to deal with its server-related requirements.
